Chant de la Sirène—Journal of Poetics & the Hybrid Arts has been publishing a diverse range of innovative, cutting-edge poetry, experimental essays, hybrid literary work, and various forms of art and photography each year since our debut 2020 Issue, “The Covid Duration.” CDLS Journal is free and available to any audience online.

CDLS also sponsors all-inclusive reading-performance events in-person and via Zoom with each issue release. It also sponsored a major international conference organized by a volunteer collective of U.S. literary scholars, on the topic of “Poetics & the University in Crisis,” in 2021.

The journal regularly brings together writers, artists, and university students from across the globe in conversation with one another. Beginning in Spring 2025, CDLS has organized and sponsored a community-based on-line writing workshop online, fostering new creative work. New writing workshops are planned.
